EPS-12000-CM ist ein managed Layer-2 Ethernet-Switch mit zwölf 10/100/1000-Mbit/s-Kupfer-Twisted-Pair-Ports im ultrakompakten COM Express Mini-Formfaktor. Er eignet sich ideal für robuste Anwendungen, einschliesslich Industrie-, Fahrzeug- und Militäranwendungen, bei denen der Platz knapp ist. Der Switch basiert auf dem kompakten Ethernet-Switchmodul EPSM-10GX von Diamond und verwendet eine Trägerplatine gleicher Grösse, um die Peripherieschaltungen für eine komplette Switch-Lösung bereitzustellen. Dieses Zwei-Platinen-Design führt zu einer ultrakompakten Grösse, die besonders für UAVs und andere unbemannte Fahrzeuge geeignet ist.
